Membership

We are a member organisation that focuses on spiritual training & research and the cooperation of members in service of humanity. Being born mid 2026, and starting from zero, our wish is to organically grow our organisation in the coming years.

To tell you more about how our membership works and what it is, we have written this page in Q&A style.

Q: What do I get the moment I join?
A: Members obtain access to weekly classes (40 weeks a year), access to our online community and to our repository of methods & techniques, which contains extra-curricular ways of learning for which they are prepared during the main study programme. Later, this will likely be only expanded.

Q: What makes Living Fire different from other spiritual communities?
A: We offer profound energy-based practices very rarely seen in other places. They are the catalyst of seeing how other parts of our teachings connect and of seeing how they connect to other teachings and traditions. Also, we have a strong emphasis on teaching you direct experience, rather than dogmatic adherence to beliefs.

Q: What kind of teachings or practices are shared?
A: Energy-based spirituality means learning to directly observe and work with the energetic dimension underlying thought, emotion, behaviour, consciousness and spiritual development. They are a wide range of methods & techniques that come from Yogic practices, reinterpreted at a new level of understanding, through the lens of energy dynamics.

There are many different meditation techniques, all with their own perspectives, that help you explore your field of consciousness from many angles. And to understand those angles in relation to your daily life, activities and interests.

Q: Is there a structure or path, or is it completely open? Can I go at my own pace?
A: There is a clear structure to our path. It is initiatory in nature, meaning that it consists of many steps that help make possible the next step. It is carefully designed to help you slowly-but-gradually expand your understanding of your inner life as well as your outer life, in relationship with the Divine Creator.

There will be various different side paths in the future, that allow for customisation. And it is possible to stop at any time, and return to the same point in the teachings in the next cycle.

Q: How much time do I need to commit?
A: This varies from person to person. But up to a certain point, more time to commit allows for more progress. You will need about 3 hours a week for the live class, and a few hours in total during the week to practice what was learned on your own. There are about 40 weeks of classes each year.

Q: I already have a lot of spiritual knowledge and experience. Can I start at the research level?
A: Much of what we teach is unique. Even though superficially it may sometimes seem to be familiar, it often contains specific layers of interpretations that are uniquely found in our school. Also, we find it very important that a strong foundational understanding is both guaranteed and shared between members.

For this reason it is not possible for new members to start at a different year of our educative programmes.

However...most members will be coming here with previous knowledge and experience. Either from this lifetime or from earlier incarnations. There will be much opportunity to deepen what you already know.

We feel that if you have enough motivation to learn the subject we teach, membership will likely be a valuable choice and one that you won't regret.

Q: What can I expect to gain from this path?
A: While we have already mentioned many things across our website. Here are a few other examples of what to expect:

General improvement of the flow of energy on all the layers of your life. Increased insight into yourself and others. Increased wisdom in daily activities and in approaching your hobbies/interests/passions. Deeper sense of connection to God. Increased awareness of the essential unity of the spiritual and the material layers of existence. Greater understanding of harmony and how to bring it about in your life.

Q: Will this help me reach direct spiritual insight?
A: While this depends on too many factors to be guaranteed. Such as your own effort and time put into it, timing in general, karmic disposition, openness and courage, etcetera. Our methods & techniques were designed specifically for the purpose of bringing you to a point of having direct spiritual insight and experiences.

Does this mean we can guarantee success? No. But chances are very high that you will experience an increase of spiritual insight & spiritual experiences already quite early on.

Q: Will I interact with others, or is this mostly individual?
A: As you will be able to read on other pages of this website, you will certainly be interacting with others. From the beginning during classes, voluntarily in the community, and later on in spiritual research and while practicing for research.

In between lessons you will also be required to do individual practice and study. Cooperation with others, however, is considered paramount for learning to integrate the teachings into your life.

Q: How does the community support my process?
A: Your process is ultimately your own. No one can do the inner work for you. At the same time, our teachers and fellow members are here to offer guidance, answer questions, and support your development where needed. It’s important to understand that within Living Fire, the work is grounded in soul development rather than personality development. This creates a different kind of support than you might find in coaching, therapy, or one-to-one counselling.

Emotional support may be present, but it is not the foundation of this work. The emphasis lies in cultivating clarity, awareness, and inner steadiness. Rather than being met primarily with comfort, you will be invited to meet yourself — fully and honestly — and to take responsibility for your own development. In this way, support is not something that replaces your process, but something that strengthens your capacity to walk it consciously.

Q: Can I contribute or share my own insights?
A: Certainly. From the start there are places and times for this. Later on in the process, you will be even required to do so, as we do much of our (training for) research work in cooperation with other members. Read more about this: Circles, triangles, squares...

Q: Do I need to believe anything to join?
A: While we are non-dogmatic in nature, three beliefs are central to our teachings:

1) We believe in the existence of a human Soul.
2) We believe in the existence of a Higher Being whose life is inextricably linked to ours.
3) We believe in reincarnation and the possibility of being liberated into a life beyond it.

We do not require you to already believe those three things, but consider it to be crucial that all our members are open to possibility of each of them.

Q: Is there a teacher or authority I need to follow?
A: Yes, but never blindly! Teachers will be either our founder, Māntrikadeva, or other master members from our organisation. They will ask of you to consider their words and accept them as hypotheses for yourself to continuously explore.

Never will we ask of you to follow as blindly, as our training programmes are meant to teach you to become autonomous spiritual researchers and valuable collaborators in shared activities. That goal simply cannot be reached by blindly following.

Q: What if I disagree with what is taught?
A: You’re expected to think for yourself. Disagreement is welcome—but it should be active, not reactive.

Living Fire is not built on belief, but on exploration and verification. If something doesn’t resonate, you’re invited to examine it, work with it, or set it aside for the time being. Your own clarity matters more than agreement.

Disagreement in itself will never be a problem. But do so with care, not dismissal.

Q: How do I know that energy-based spiritual practices are “real” and not just ideas?
A: Our energy-based spiritual practices can be experienced directly. While they may require some initial sensitisation, their effects and realities should become gradually more concrete to you. Otherwise continuing to practice them will not make much sense.

Q: Is this connected to any religion or tradition?
A: While most of what we teach is related to Yoga, Samkhya and Vedanta, or to certain Theosophical currents of teaching, we consider ourselves to be a non-religious, non-dogmatic, and interspiritual organisation.

On a more abstract level, this means we are an independent spiritual organisation that teaches the exploration and verification of the Universal Truth (or Eternal Dharma) that lies behind all religions and spiritual traditions.

Do you have a background in a certain tradition? We greatly value it if you help us understand traditions and practices you are familiar with through the eyes of our teachings.

Q: Can both men and women join?
A: In Western countries there are still certain spiritual organisations which are only open to men.

For us, gender neither qualifies nor disqualifies anyone for membership. What matters is the willingness to move beyond identity, into the Soul.

Q: How do I join?
A: You can join through clicking the 'Join now!' link at the bottom of this page.

Q: What does membership cost?
A: We use a variable fee and seek to keep our prices low. Depending on what you can afford, you pay either 33, 50 or 77 euros per month. For some events or future side-teachings there may be additional fees.

Like many organisations, how much time we can spend on sharing our teachings with the world, depends on if we can financially sustain ourselves. Making a donation to Living Fire will definitely support us in doing so!

Q: Can I cancel anytime? Is there a trial or way to explore before committing?
A: You can cancel monthly.

There is no trial period. To explore before committing, reach out and book a free 90-minute intake, or come to one of our public events.

Q: What happens after I sign up?
A: After you sign up, you will be contacted within 7 days by us. We will then give you practical information on how to attend classes (ex.: Zoom link, etc.) and integrate you into the right community groups.
