You could say, Living Fire is a spiritual research school, where all students gradually become involved in passing on our wisdom, methods & techniques, in a form and to a degree of their choosing.
Central to our approach is the empowerment of all students to become able to gather spiritual insights directly, through their own efforts.
Our spirituality isn’t a belief system. It is a field of investigation.
Moving from studying to researching
Members of our organisation start as students, while in their learning they are being trained to gain spiritual insights directly. This learning slowly transforms into doing spiritual research.
Collaborating with fellow members, they will ultimately take on research projects. First in a more formal way, later on fully at their own initiative.
The purpose of this research is to share insights with each other and the world at large. From the intention to contribute to the collective awakening of human consciousness, of the planet & our solar system.
Going beyond the traditional...
At Living Fire we go beyond traditional master-teacher structures, still so widely prevalent in spirituality in many forms.
We will always stimulate your spiritual autonomy. Explain how you can reproduce and check results for yourself. Show you why an exercise works the way it works.

What we do is still deeply in line with tradition — only in ways transposed to the higher vibrations of our times.
Energy-based Spirituality
We explain all our spiritual and philosophical teachings from the viewpoint of energy dynamics.
This gives a very deep and intuitively logical understanding of the connection between form and information on one side, and the essential, spiritual nature of all things on the other side.
Foundational to this view is the understanding that all that exists is made out of energy. And that this is a reality that can be directly explored through our senses and awareness, and also can grant us a new degree of control over life itself.
Through this, not only our own teachings can be understood more easily, but also the teachings and spiritual practices of other schools and traditions.
Intuitively logical
Our esoteric spiritual teachings, that are truly structured and brought back to their essence, do not only help practitioners become more intuitive, but also see the logic within their intuitions, to integrate Heart & Mind with one another.
Only then can the full power of spiritual discernment — called viveka khyāti in the Indian traditions — be awakened inside you. Through this discernment you will become a ‘Divine Bearer of Truth and Justice’, or ṛtambharā.
The key to developing this is learning to see the energy dynamics within each element of your inner and outer life evermore clearly. This expresses the central theme of our organisation: Energy-Based Spirituality.
Circles, triangles, squares...
Our teachings simply can’t be taught without teachers — at the same time we just as much feel the need to be a space for learning members to have the opportunity to share their experiences, declare their needs and fully blossom.
Meetings follow a geometric interaction structure: circumpuncts and circles for learning and exploration, triangles for teaching exchange, and squares for practical coordination. Their alternation at the same time creates a slow ritual and meaningful interaction structure.
It was designed to give room to both the authority of teachers and the inner authority of learning members — and to make roles clear while also giving opportunity to explore different roles over time.
Towards Self-Realisation — and into Liberation
Our philosophy, methods & techniques are here to support the seekers of the world in their quest for Self-Realisation: the deep realisation that we are not the self (small s), but the Self (capital s).
This Self is the Soul, that is an individualised part of the Divine Reality. To us this is certainly no endpoint. It is rather a new beginning.
From this point on — by putting our Self-Realisation to good use for humanity and the world at large — we are liberated further and further, into the Divine Reality that is our true home and essential nature. Thi is spiritual Liberation.
The source of our teachings
Our teachings are an intelligent synthesis of wisdom, methods & techniques that mostly come from Yoga, Samkhya, Vedanta & Theosophical philosophies, understood from the level of energy dynamics.
As well as from direct insight, gained while in meditation. At the moment only gathered by our founder — and soon, hopefully, also by our students.

Current times — and the possibilities & challenges they offer — require us all to be intuitive yet rational, sharp yet compassionate, open yet firmly centered.
Our approach and community are designed to navigate these complexities, to help bring into manifestation the spirit & forms for what seekers need now & in the future that is unfolding. Yet, they are based upon the the balance, wisdom and strength of Eternity.

An interspiritual heart
Living Fire was built with a strong conviction that all the religions, spiritual paths and wisdom traditions of the world are members of the same family. Merely different forms, different means towards the same end: Unity with the Divine.
We teach our members a certain approach, but also always tell them to look beyond our own tradition and seek the similarities with other traditions and to treat people from other traditions as brothers and sisters on their Path.
Moreover, we even believe our teachings are structured in a way that they actually help see this Unity behind the Diversity of Paths more easily, to feel it more deeply and to become more curious and inclusive of the other.
